5th January January App Update
We’ve been hard at work these past few weeks adding and improving features to help make Dopplle even more valuable for you. We’re super excited to tell you about these new features/improvements, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
To continue refreshing the app, we have updated the profile editor. This is the section where you can add information about yourself, such as your name, as well as a new section called ‘Tell us more about yourself’. This is a new field where you can add a small description about your style, and how you are. This text will display on your profile page when a fellow Doppller clicks on your username!
Add something fun and interesting about your style and what items you have listed on your account.
We have added a new feature which allows users to follow each other. The follow button is on the ‘User Profile’ screen underneath the profile picture. To follow a user, you can either click the ‘User Lookup’ on Browse Dopplle to search for a user, or if you see an item you like, open the item preview screen and click the username underneath the image. Both their screens will open the ‘User Profile’ here. You can click the follow button. By following a user, you will receive a notification when they upload a new item, so follow Doppllers, who have things you like. This way, you will never miss out!
You can now send messages that include images. This is helpful when you are interested in an item but want to see a few more pictures before deciding to swap. To make your life easier, we have also added the ability to copy and paste text which might be helpful when sending information about an item.
To make things a little more interesting, we have created a custom loading animation that will show on the screen while you wait so you know that something is happening and the app isn’t stuck!
