Last week Sam won the “People’s Choice Award” for Dopplle at Venture Crawl 2022, where she was representing University of Nottingham in conjunction with The Ingenuity Lab – Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. At this virtual event she was able to connect with other entrepreneurs and learn more about their start-up companies, including Jack Vernon from Fitness by Science and Mercy Ofuya, PhD from CupArise – many congratulations to Mercy for being Venture Crawl 2022 winner!

Sam entered the competition along with students from universities across the globe, and after being selected to pitch to represent Nottingham, Sam was both surprised and delighted to be chosen as one of the top 10 finalists to pitch again in front of around a hundred people.

What a fantastic event to be a part of and she hopes next year she will be able to attend in person!
