27th October How To Get Swapping With Dopplle
So you’ve heard of Dopplle, you’ve downloaded the app and now you’re wondering what to do next. Here’s a whistle stop tour on how to get started and get swapping.
The first place to start is the Dopplle Dashboard – this is where you will find everything you need to manage your account, add items and get swapping.
How does the app work overall?
In order to make sure everyone benefits from Dopplle and that the swapping of items is an even playing field, each item has the value of one Dopplle Coin. Trade one of your items on Dopplle by giving it to a new home and gain one Dopplle Coin, then use this Coin to “Buy” an item from someone else. Let the swapping commence!
Want to swap some of your own clothes?
Simply click the ‘Add a New Item’ icon, add details of your item (the more the better) and click Save. If you need a bit more guidance, check out the full steps here.
Want to acquire some new clothes?
Click the ‘Browse Dopplle’ icon on your dashboard and peruse at your leisure. If something takes your fancy, click on the image to view more and from there you can request it by clicking on the shopping cart icon and selecting your preferred shipping or pick-up option. Want to know more about Dopplle Coins and how they work?
Dopple Coins are what we call credits within the app – they are your virtual currency. All trades within the Dopplle app are made within a closed ecosystem, so no money will change hands. You earn coins by trading one of your own items of clothing and you ‘spend’ them by trading with another user’s item. Read more about Dopplle Coins here.
